What is Jacket Journey?
Save the date for Friday, August 16 – Sunday, August 18, 2024.
Jacket Journey is Howard Payne University’s new student welcome event committed to supporting new students, both freshman and transfers, in their transition to campus. Participation is encour年龄d and free for all incoming HPU students.
The events during this three-day orientation will provide opportunities for students to become better acquainted with HPU and with one another.

Jacket Journey is Howard Payne University’s new student welcome event designed to inform entering students about life at HPU and equip them for success. All students who are new to HPU are expected to attend Jacket Journey. Jacket Journey features opportunities to learn about campus resources, attend social events, participate in HPU traditions, 和更多的!
Jacket Journey will occur Friday, August 19 – Sunday, August 21, 2022.
New students will move into the residence halls and apartments on Friday, August 19.
Students will receive an email on August 1 allowing them to select times to arrive on August 19 between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
If students are part of an athletic team or program that will arrive to campus earlier than August 19, the coach or program director will communicate that information to students.
The Jacket Journey 商业公平 is an exciting opportunity for local businesses to help welcome our incoming students and families to Brownwood and show what our community has to offer.
All students and families will have the opportunity to interact with the community during move-in on Friday, August 16 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Local businesses can register to have a booth in the fair 在这里.
